I have been using Firefox 77 which I have used for several weeks with no problems.
Since yesterday, when I start FF 77, my laptop becomes frozen so I have to use the off button.
      I am using AntiX 17
I tried removing FF and reinstalled, but it did not help.

Have you started firefox in terminal and looked for any error messages.

As a work-around you could download Firefox from Mozilla’s site, uncompress the file, and run the firefox binary, to see if it runs ok.
If it’s something related to your profile, try using a firefox appimage (usally they come only on older versions), that do not use the “normal” profile…

            Thank you for the suggestions.

I started FF in Safe Mode and did a refresh of FF which removed all the extensions and addons. Now, it is working again.

            Thanks for the help.
