These are INDEED updated today; I ran Firefox Release 107.0 a few moments ago, and I am running the Firefox Development Edition 108.0b1 (64-bit), which is almost equivalent to the Firefox Beta edition. Haven’t opened up the Nightly Edition yet; I do run it most days, so I’ll probably be using it soon; same with ESR; don’t use it as often as the others…

As noted above, YESTERDAY was the merge date for the next versions of these browsers and TODAY is the release date.
I’m using Firefox Nightly at the moment, and sure enough, Version 112 is now the current Nightly version tree.
I’ll probably see the updates for Beta/Developer Edition, stable Release, and the ESR sometime today too; I will be updating my personal versions.

If anyone other than me is interested in experimenting with the various Firefox builds, this https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/browsers/ reference provides you with the page from which any of the browsers can be obtained. I often go to the bottom of the page in the section entitled Developers to download the different browsers.

Anyone can do this however they prefer. For me, I’ll download a browser. For instance, if I want the Firefox Developer Edition, I’ll visit the Developers section, then click on Developer Edition, which sends me to the link
https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/developer/
Then I click on the box for the download. Right now, the Firefox Developer Edition download is accessed by clicking on a blue box.
Tonight that gives me the firefox-111.0b8.tar.bz2 instance.
This was downloaded to my ~/Downloads directory.
Then I run the command tar xvjf firefox-111.0b8.tar.bz2 and a firefox directory is created in my Downloads directory.
Since I like to test several different Firefox instances, I typically name them by the version I’ve downloaded, so in this case, I rename the firefox directory to firefox-developer and then move firefox-developer to my home directory.

I repeat a similar exercise for each browser instance, for example, I have a firefox-release directory containing the current stable release, a firefox-developer directory containing the Firefox Developer Edition, and a firefox-nightly directory containing the Firefox Nightly Edition (which is what I happen to be using right now (it’s 112.0a1 (2023-03-02) (64-bit) today.

Looking at today’s calendar and the previous post with the schedules indicates that the Firefox project has been sticking fairly well with their planned calendar, much better than their rather random approach of the past.
