Hi, could anyone explain what the arrows to the right of the volume icon do (if anything)? Is there any way of removing them ? This is just a personal thing, if it don’t do nothing why is it there?

Those arrows are used for changing between windows. See the order of opened windows in the toolbar? Left arrow will focus on windows moving to the left, right arrow will focus on windows moving to the rigth.
To edit this out in fluxbox, you need to edit the $HOME/.fluxbox/init file, specifically the session.screen0.toolbar.tools option. The names of these “arrows” are prevwindow and nextwindow respectively.
Remove them from the list, save the file and restart fluxbox.
