      When browsing foreign language websites (Arabic, Japanese, Russian, Hindi…), characters are all well displayed within webpage, but not at all in web browser’s window title: they simply do not appear.

      Why is this? Am I missing some package? I already have unifont installed…

        Do you have the language packs for those languages installed in the browser,
        I think all the mainstream browsers need that to display correctly.

        The pages are in most cases downloading the fonts needed to display the content
        using a loader script.

          Yes, I already tried.

          When browsing, say, Wikipedia in foreign languages, all text is displayed normally, but still nothing in browser’s window title…
