forum email notification halt

Hi everyone.
I am subscribed to several forum’s topics and whole categories.
Since around 3rd of July I am no longer receiving emails of notification when a topic has been answered of a new topic has been created, basically no notification emails whatsoever.
Of course those emails are not in my spam folder.
Any idea or explanations?
Is it just my issue or something has changed from your side?

I don’t know the reason that Email notifications have ceased, though I have noticed a significant performance improvement on our forum recently.
If it is the direct result of disabling notifications, most people will probably support it.

I’d be interested in finding out if the notifications stopped for this or other reasons.

there is an issue with the smtp server that the forum uses for email. Its also not sending new user signup requests.
