      Hello,

I would like to know if one can boot a 64b frugal antix 19 with a 32b antix 19 live USB ?

Frugal folder is on a windows partition. I don’t want to use grub, as it is an office laptop. My main antix live USB is 32 bits, in order to be able to rescue old computers. I would like to boot my 64b frugal antix with my main 32 bits live USB. I guess I cannot, since I tried without success. I tried bdir boot paramater without success neither.

What error message do you get when you attempt to boot your frugal install from usb?

        confirmed antiX frugaler, since 2019

          Hello,

I don’t get any error message. My 32 bits live USB boots in my 32 bits frugal install, and seems to be unable to boot in my 64 bits frugal install, even with bdir=/path/to/64b/frugal boot option (in the latter case, it boots the 32 bits frugal install as well). It may be normal behaviour, and just would like to make it clear or to know whether there is a way to achieve it.
