Just try a different distribution. 🙂
With a variety of hardware, developers do not have the opportunity to check all options. My example is very recent – the opensuse installer didn’t load the explicit MBR entry, it wanted the EFI .
I can give specific examples of others.
By the way, opensuse has an option to install only a basic graphical interface without extra programs, the check will pass faster.
