Forum › Forums › General › Software › [FYI] Falkon browser segfaults without –disable-gpu option on startup
Falkon version (3.1.0-0mx19+1) and nightly flatpaks crash upon launch in antiX 17.1 when the command line option –disable-gpu is omitted.
In other words this is how you must launch Falkon for it to work:
falkon –disable-gpu
or
flatpak run org.kde.falkon –disable-gpu
The reason is some underlying Qt issue the developers are aware of, but handle poorly.
Thanks for the info – but why are you using 17.1?
Philosophers have interpreted the world in many ways; the point is to change it.
antiX with runit - leaner and meaner.
