      Hello everybody.

      I have a doubt in this sentence:

      <location filename="minstall.cpp" line="2253"/>
      <source>%1% root
      %2% home</source>

      What will be displayed in %1%?

      What will be displayed in %2%?

      <location filename=”partman.cpp” line=”515″/>
      <source>Preserve /home (%1)</source>

      What will be displayed in %1%?

      Olá a todos.

      Eu tenho dúvida nesta frase:

      <location filename="minstall.cpp" line="2253"/>
      <source>%1% root
      %2% home</source>

      O que será exibido em %1%?

      O que será exibido em %2%?

      <location filename=”partman.cpp” line=”515″/>
      <source>Preserve /home (%1)</source>

      O que será exibido em %1%?

        Dear Marcelocripe,

        Are you working with a po file because the numbering is not the same at Transifex ?
        I assume regarding %1% and %2% the name of one partition or a sub-volume.

        Warmest regards,
        Wallon

          Hello dear Wallon.

          I downloaded the file “for_use_antix-development_gazelle-installer_en_BR.ts” and am reviewing and inserting the translations locally. When I finish editing the file I will transfer it to the Transifex website. The numbering is different, but the texts are identical. My doubts are from the phrases: “%1% root %2% home” and “Preserve /home (%1)”.

          If the (%1) means it will display the name (antiX), I can adapt it to “Preservar a pasta /home do (%1)”, but without me knowing what will be displayed in (%1) I don’t have how to adapt to make full sense in pt-BR. The same is true for the other phrase that has %1% and %2%.

          Grateful.

          Olá caro Wallon.

          Eu baixei o arquivo “for_use_antix-development_gazelle-installer_pt_BR.ts” e estou revisando e inserindo as traduções localmente. Quando eu concluir a edição do arquivo irei transferir para o sítio Transifex. A numeração é diferente, mas os textos são idênticos. As minhas dúvidas são das frases: “%1% root %2% home” e “Preserve /home (%1)”.

          Se o (%1) significa que irá exibir o nome (antiX), eu poderei adaptar a para “Preservar a pasta /home do (%1)”, mas sem eu saber o que será exibido em (%1) eu não tenho como adaptar para fazer sentido completo em pt-BR. O mesmo ocorre com a outra frase que possui %1% e %2%.

          Grato.

            Missing in pt.

            Eu consegui concluir a tradução e a revisão do gazelle-installer para pt_BR.
            Falta em pt.

            Grato.

              Dear translators,

              Anticapitalista has put a new file “gazelle-installer” in the “Anticapitalista-antiX” project at Transifex.

              Should the words “dump” and “pass” be translated in the following strings? I think it’ s the name of some kind of software or application.

              EN – String 83 => (1) Dump (1) – Instructs the dump utility to include this partition in the backup.
              FR – String 83 => (1) Dump (1) – Indique à l’utilitaire de sauvegarde d’inclure cette partition dans le backup.

              EN – String 84 => (1) Pass (1) – The sequence in which this file system is to be checked at boot. If zero, the file system is not checked.
              FR – String 84 => (1) Pass (1) – L’ordre dans lequel ce système de fichiers doit être vérifié au démarrage. S’il est égal à zéro, le système de fichiers n’est pas vérifié.

              EN – String 218 => Dump
              FR – String 218 => Dump

              EN – String 219 => Pass
              FR – String 219 => Pass

              Best regards,
              Wallon

                I would leave it as it is, untranslated (at least for Greek).

                Philosophers have interpreted the world in many ways; the point is to change it.

                antiX with runit - leaner and meaner.

                            Dear developers,

                            In the string 136 of Transifex, there is the little sentence “Enjoy using %1”.

                            Without the context, it is difficult to translate “enjoy” into a Latin language.

                            Is it the infinitive “to enjoy”? In French = “Profiter”.
                            Is it the imperative “enjoy”? In French = “Profitez”.

                            Best regards,

                              Hello Wallon,
                              Without knowing the source code of this, I guess your second line is what is meant. „%1” is probably replaced by the program name, so it would be an imperative. But to be completely sure about this, the program author would have to add a developers note.
                              Yours
