Gksu doesn’t work. [SOLVED].

Gksu doesn’t work here.
After entering root’s pwd, silently fails. 🙁

On the other hand, Gksudo works flawlessly.

1) Is there any way, to bring back Gksu’s functionality?
2) If not, is it safe to use Gksudo instead?

What system are you reporting about?
