Hi people!
80 years ago, the great trouble came to my native land – the attack of the Nazi third Reich’s troops on the cities and the village of my Motherland.
On June 22, 1941 at 4:00 Moscow time, German troops cross the border of the USSR throughout the Black Sea to the White Sea. The very bloody and fierce war began in the history of mankind, the end of which was in Berlin on May 8, 1945.
If there are people on the forum who are interested in this topic and who want to know the details – please ask your questions. I heard that outside of Russia, the Second World War gives little importance. For Russians, this war left a deep scar on the heart – in every family there is a deceased, a participant or those who survived it in the rear, there are families who died completely – as 6 million Jews.

There are tons of facts against the story of holocaust — open data that everybody can check him/her-self.

There was a war. That is the truth. There was a genocide. That is the truth. There were concentration camps. That is the truth. The numbers may not be precise or even inflated, but that doesn’t negate that all those horrible things happened. Being too obsessed with the numbers, be it one side or the other, doesn’t change the facts. There were not only Jews in the concentration camps, but saying that there were no Jews, or that they were not an object of hate, is just ignoring the facts.
During wars there were always prison camps, where enemies and anyone suspected as an enemy was being held. You can call them prison camps if you don’t like the word “concentration camp”, but they existed and they are there.I think this discussion leads to nowhere. Obsessing on these things will not change the past or what the history books say. Being to obsessed in denying small things only makes those small things more important for both sides. Remembering that hate, greed for power and excessive pride leads people to commit horrible acts is more important that trying to categorize those horrible things, and we must learn to identify them before it is too late, to avoid those atrocities to happen again.

Thank you sw-ekb for these numbers, as people outside of East-Europe region are not typically familiar with these immense numbers of people who lost their lives in the World War II.
I was familiar with such numbers, however with some clarifications:
– 30 million of people of CCCP who lost their lives includes a very large population of people who lost their lives in result of Stalin’s oppression of his own people. Gulags in Siberia and far North. Have you seen the movie Utomlennye.Solncem-1994?
– I had a number of about 15 million Germans who died, although the number you quoted – 8 million – could be closer from between these.Thanks very much for raising this topic…
