      Hello to all,
though at elder ages and having used Windows until now I decided to try Linux OS, concretely antiX on my eldest notebook HP nx6310, Celeron 1700, 2 GB RAM, 60 GB HDD, running Windows 7. This computer is intended to serve as a Network Player and for casually Network Research in my private Metal Workshop. Meanwhile I had partioned the HDD and installed antiX 19.1 in Dual-boot order. So far so good. But now began the difficulties, and I had to learn that a Linux System isn’t to handle so easy as promised. Too many different versions, too many excenptions and too many complicated commands that are all to learn an that in a foreign language. Sorry, but my computer has to work for me and it`s not my part to work for it. So I say goodbye to Linux and return to my old Windows, that will do it for this purpose.
My best wishes to all Linux Users.

…..but you didn’t know how to use MSWindows at birth, you had to learn it, it’s just the same with Linux. 😉

        Linux (& BSD) since 1999
