Alright, let’s jump right in here,

For S&G’s I tried to install an OLD ubuntu to another partition,

      the installer finished,

upon reboot GRUB only loads for Antix.

If I explore the drive, I find the ubuntu partition and looks like its installed.

How can I edit GRUB to allow me to select antix or ubu boot?

      THX.

You don’t need to manually edit menus in grub like it used to require.

          In terminal:

          sudo update-grub

          and enter your password.

Grub will go and search through all of your partitions and rebuild its own menus, adding whatever it finds.
