I had this idea on my brain for a while, and all the work, on Toolbar Icon Manager helped me create this tiny script, that tries to find out the .desktop file of every single application that has an open window, and present them on a list, so users select the one they want to add (it uses part of the TIM script, for that).
My idea is trying to emulate the feature that some D.E.’s have, where you can right click any icon on the toolbar and “pin” it to the taskbar.
I do not propose that this script gets added to antiX, but it can be helpful for the ocasional user.
Note: This script does not localize the name of application that is placed in the quick launch icons part of the toolbar, I’m too tired to implement that…

@PPC the script show some extra options, like the conkey or multi results of the same app, but don’t show Brave.
edit: Otherwise it did add icon to the toolbar
Just to give feedback, the only applications offered here are conky-toggle.sh and roxterm.
They are not open, though.Running apps Libreoffice writer and firefox are not shown.
Many thanks for the feedback – like I said, it was only one idea of a future feature to be added to Toolbar Icon Manager – I can’t, for now, add any more features to it, but I’m a bit sad that this script failed to work – it basicaly lists all running programs and tries to find matches for them on the .desktop files available on the system…
For now I won’t debug this- I’m just glad that TIM seems to be bug free and I hope it’s on it’s way to the Repository…
