La guida d’installazione e configurazione di antiX è stata aggiornata dalla versione per antiX-19 alla versione per antiX-21.

Guida d’installazione e configurazione di antiX in .pdfLa guida è pensata per accompagnare gli utenti, soprattutto i nuovi utenti, ad installare con successo il sistema operativo e ad avere un idea degli strumenti che permettono la personalizzazione del sistema. Dà indicazioni per evitare di incorrere in alcuni problemi frequenti e indicazioni per disporre di documentazione utile per superare eventuali difficoltà non banali.
Gli approfondimenti della configurazione e la risoluzione dei problemi complessi sono contenuti nel “Manuale dell’Utente di antiX” mentre nelle wiki-Faq (in italiano qui, mentre in inglese qui e qui) si possono trovare guide utili per un ampia gestione di questo sistema operativo.Nella versione 21 della guida è stato dedicato molto spazio all’installer Gazzelle che a partire da antiX 19.5 ha subito molti cambiamenti.
Poi è stata sviluppata una sezione della guida che spiega come creare e gestire la persistenza in una chiavetta USB.Appena possibile verrà pubblicata una traduzione in inglese di questa guida.
Dopo la versione inglese comincerò a lavorare per aggiornare il manuale italiano dell’utente dalla versione 19 alla 21 e quando sarà completo cercherò di tradurlo in inglese. Ci vorranno un po’ di mesi, il mio tempo libero è poco.——————————————-

The installation and configuration guide is designed to walk users, especially new users, to successfully install the operating system and to get an idea of the tools that allow system customization.
It also gives directions to avoid running into some frequent problems and where to find useful documentation to overcome any non-trivial difficulties.
The in-depth details of the configuration and the resolution of complex problems are contained in the “antiX User Manual” while in the wiki-Faq (in Italian here, while in English here and here) you can find useful guides for an extensive management of this system operating.In version 21 of the guide, a lot of space was dedicated to the Gazzelle installer which has undergone major changes since antiX 19.5.
Then I developed a section of the guide that explains how to create and manage persistence on a USB stick.An English translation of this guide will be published as soon as possible.
After the English version I will start working to update the Italian user manual from 19 to 21 version, and when it is complete I will try to translate it into English. It will take a few months, my free time is short.

My time on the forum is quite limited, but I took a look at it (being Portuguese, I understand a little Italian) and this is truly great stuff!
I particularly liked how you showcased FT10, very nice touch!P.

I appreciate your thanks, but to be fair, I have to thank you.
All the work around FT10 is a great gift for antiX users. A very important work for new users who are not very experienced of the Linux system but also for normal users who want a comfortable and elegant desktop. I couldn’t avoid talking about such an important software in this guide.
I think it would be important for the ft10-transformation package to be included in the list of installable software through the antiX Package InstallerYour contribution in this guide, which I hope to be able to translate into English quite quickly (but not very fast because I have to change images, change links, change syntax, change some words, etc.), is not limited to working on FT10.
The guide originates from the Portuguese language version of the anilkagi installation guide document. In the Portuguese version created by you with marcelocripe additions there was a part made by you, very well done, on the management of the software.
I used your software guide to build the chapter on “Software management” in the antiX User Manual (currently only in Italian).
In the Portuguese guide there were many useful tips and arguments for those who want to install antiX, coming from Windows, without knowing anything about the Linux operating system.
These tips, added by you and marcelocripe, to the anilkagi origin guide I put them all together by joining them to your specific post for new users: “What is antiX and how to try it out or install it” I created a document “Cos’è Linux, cos’è antiX – Info per principianti” for new users by translating your advice into Italian .
The installation guide in paragraph “2.1 Choosing the antiX desktop environment” introduces a note, this:
“Note. If you come from a proprietary operating system and it is not clear what it is, and how the Gnu/Linux OS works., then you may find it useful to read this document: “Cos’è Linux, cos’è antiX – Info per principianti” where there is the link to the document translated into Italian, the result of your and Marcelo’s work.Another reference to your contributions to antiX can be found in the chapter on the software “Chap.6 – Installing applications”. At the end of the chapter it is written:
“If you need to install a Debian package (with features suitable for your system), not downloaded from the distro repositories through the Software Managers, you can use this command:
sudo apt install /path/to/deb-file
eg. sudo apt install ~/Downloads/myapp-1.0.0_amd64.deb
or type: gksu apt install
and then copy-paste the .deb file on the terminal. (install gksu package)

E’ da un po’ che ci penso ma non so ancora bene come impostarlo: penso a come realizzare una raccolta dei tutorial realizzati principalmente da PPC (ma anche da altri), a cui faccio spesso riferimento. Trattano di argomenti che non sono delle FAQ, ma sono consigli estremamente utili quando si vuole andare un po’ in profondità.Immagino la realizzazione di un indice, con link ipertestuali ai vari post del forum con l’argomento di riferimento.
Se hai dei consigli, non esitare a scrivermi.

Mi sembra un ottima idea. Sarebbe uno strumento veloce, pratico e utile.
Tra l’altro farebbe comodo anche a me, nella costruzione e nell’aggiornamento dei vari documenti dato che io seguo poco il forum, ma è attraverso il forum che si capisce quali sono i nuovi problemi che insorgono e quali sono i più frequenti.
Una lista così mi sarebbe utile sia per capire quali argomenti vanno maggiormente affrontati nello sviluppo di un capitolo sia come link da inserire alla fine dei capitoli.
