gvfs broken package alert in synaptic installer each time it is opened.
Thunar needed gvfs-backends to run properly and when installed, gvfs-backends is what did not install fully – left out 119 files yet everything seems to run correctly (so far) in thunar, with the one package it claimed to install.
gvfs-daemons is the broken package. Used the option to “fix broken package” in edit menu. Results looked the same. Does not “fix”. Do I need to fix this and would it conflict with something if it was not broken?
