I’m just trying to wring a tiny bit more performance out of my old Pentium III all-in-one project PC, but I have been completely unsuccessful in getting it to boot to the desktop using the sis driver. I tried installing the sisimedia driver and using it as well. I just end up at a login prompt in a console rather than booting up the desktop. I just want to know if I should keep beating my head against this, or is sis support just broken(what with being 20 years old and not particularly useful even back when it was new)?

Forum member Xecure made an antiX-19 respin with the xorg packages from antiX-16. From my understanding, this has worked for many with these chipsets, where the regular antiX-19 xorg packages lacked support.
