      Hello!

New Antix 19-user here. I have recently installed it on a HP Elitebook 2530p a computer I will use for work, surfing the internet et cetera.

Tried Antix before once (on an ASUS EeePC 900).

Hi! Welcome to our little antiX “family”.
any problem you have, feel free to post about it and someone will try to help you out (dig through the forum posts first- we have lots of good info and tips available).
antiX 19 runs great and it is also, I believe, the best looking and more polished antiX version to date (and for sure the best looking distro considering the ratio of “features and looks”/”resources” used).
I’m not sure how much RAM you Hp has- if it’s 1 Gig of RAM you’ll probably be better off using a lighter browser than Firefox for “heavy” browsing- or else take care not to open many tabs at once. Other than that- antiX runs like a champ on my single core atom netbook with 1 Gig of ram, so it should behave even better, even in most of “old” computers…
