        Welcome! I bet the current antiX version is light years in front of Mepis, no? (I never used Mepis)

          Mepis was KDE3 it was clean and well made. It had lots of usable packages on the desktop by default. I was very sad to learn of Mepis’demise. On the other hand it was 32bit and is now obsolete. AntiX is a very good distribution and I enjoy using it.

            Short essential how-to list for the complete Linux newbie and How-to install applications – 2020 version.
