Thanks for the greeting!
Where did you get a lot of experience? Linuxes inexhaustible, as an electron and an atom, and study it can be infinite. Be sure to read the recommendations of MarceLoCripe, the checkbox of course put.
Probably AntiX will survive my computer, and not one.
Thanks to the Internet and the computer (people who came up with and created) for help in uniting people.Один из видов моего города.
One of the species of my city.

::@sw-ekb, welcome to the antiX forum. Nice pictures of your city. Your city is larger than my city of birth in Seattle but smaller than my current adopted city of New York City. I’m sure you will find antiX to be a great operating system for your older less powerful computers. I have several old Pentium 4 and Pentium III’s still running using antiX.

America settled from the east to the west, but you decided to do as Russians – settled the country from the West to the East!

And you love the ocean, in my opinion )

::Warm greetings!
I like the water too, but I haven’t lived right next to the ocean.
Growing up I was within several miles of the waters connecting the Great Lakes in Michigan and about an hour from the southern edge of Lake Huron.
For 27 years I lived about an hour from the Atlantic Ocean in New Hampshire, 5 minutes or less from the Merrimack River and 20-40 minutes from the two largest inland lakes.
I’m about 4 hours from the Atlantic Ocean now that I live in South Carolina and less than an hour from a couple of lakes in North and South Carolina.

::I miss living on the water, as I did in Seattle. I am now about 2-1/2 hours from the ocean, on the Hudson River. I like the ocean but am partial to inlets like the Puget Sound, or Long Island Sound.

::Like you, Seaken64, I do enjoy the water but I really don’t want to live too close to the ocean in particular because the extreme weather changes, especially hurricane activity, can be very damaging, even storms that are downgraded to “tropical storms”.
Interestingly enough, the Great Lakes region and the great Northwest have both been going through weather extremes in the past few days. The Northwest had uncharacteristically high temperature readings over 100 degrees and the Great Lakes region is experiencing large amount of rain. I’ve been thinking of both areas, praying for the safety of the people who live there.

Hey!
The first – the picture of the Russian artist Vasil Surikov is called “Ermak conquers Siberia”, the event is 1582, the battle of Ermak’s squad from the Tatars of the Horde.
The second is the picture of the Russian artist Ivan Aivazovsky, was made in 1850, all of his paintings are devoted to the sea and the people of the sea.
Both paintings are shown in the Russkiy Museum in St. Petersburg.CPU: Single Core AMD Sempron 3000+ speed: 1607 MHz Kernel: 4.9.0-264-antix.1-amd64-smp x86_64
