There are ways to make antiX look a bit more like MacOS, if you feel you need that to ease your transition – I have a thread on that, as well as the forum user Madibi

Here you’ll find a lot of nice and competent people.

2 months ago I installed antiX 21 on my daughter’s 2013 MacBook Air with 4 Gram (former El Capitan), and so far she is happy.

My tweak to make antiX look like MacOS is less sophisticated than PPC’s one, but has the plus (for my taste) that the dock’s icons magnify when hovering 🙂

In any case please don’t hesitate to ask in case of need.

In my daughter’s Mac, in order to transform “right apple” to “AltGr” this is the working cli command that I customized for her:

xmodmap -e “keycode 134 = ISO_Level3_Shift”
