I didn’t initially see this topic… so I actually sent a note, but awesome distro… I was super impressed as to the fluidity of the installer. Clear, concise, an option to partition manually (no thanks) but it’s nice to have the option. It’s funny because the installer reminded me of back when I supported end users. I’d tell them all the same thing, while installing… always be positive. Never click, no, or cancel… It’s all about Next> Ok> Finished>. I started that after watching a user fail to accept a EULA over and over.

I tried a bunch of distros before finding antiX. Most of them used a slightly modified version of the ubuntu or debian installer (). NONE of the distros were as nice to the cpu, before, during or after install. Personally, I need it for vnc, mono and eclipse on a virtual running on my piece of s* windows 7 box. As I’ve done 20 years of Windows programming/administration and 5 years of Unix back in the day, I can’t completely let go yet but 2 of my 4 real machines are running Linux. (Debian on one and Ubuntu on the other due to a driver problem). Ok, I’m getting off topic… just wanted to say Great Job!!!

Thanks for the intro and welcome to our little world!

Philosophers have interpreted the world in many ways; the point is to change it.

antiX with runit - leaner and meaner.
