Hello all!
New user in the forum. I have an interest in Linux distros for systems running low on resources so AntiX looks like the perfect option.

::Welcome aboard. 🙂
AntiX is good for new & old machines. 😉
(Gave away my 2002 laptop that was running it, & now it’s on my new 2018 SBC.)

::Hello,
At the moment I running it as a virtual machine and have tested enough distros to have an accurate feel of what I understand by light, AntiX is top. Once I have tested it extensively I may end up replacing Debian+Lxde for AntiX. I will post those specs rokytnji mentions.
By the way, fatmac, what SBC are you using to run AntiX on? Very interested. The ones I have tried are armhf-based.

::Greetings!
I have had great results with Debian, MEPIS, MX,and many other Linux-based distributions over the years.
AntiX is one of the fastest of my current collection and MX is one of the easiest to install and use.
I have been a big encouraged and active user of each since their inception. I recently retired, so I am not “deep in the trenches any more (if I ever was), but I continue to support and advocate (and test) this software and I love our community.
