Hi all have been using Linux since about 2005 and had so much fun watching and learning and now we have a New and exciting one I have never been able to use Fluxbox with success but this is pretty good. I like MATE DE as it is well laid out but I am new to this and will persevere > I am impressed so far

In my usage case. Like everyone. I started off using Desktop Environments. eg: mate lxde, xfce, etc…….
Once I learned how to maneuver in a linux install using a Windpow manager or cli. eg: icerwm, fluxbox, jwm,etc…….
I never looked back after that.
I keep my hand in MX with XFCE .
Being a MX forum mod also.Howdy and Welcome.
