Hi, greetings from East Texas USA! I’m not new to antiX but I haven’t used it or tested it that much either. Only on a couple of machines. Enough to become familiar with it. I run MX on most of my newer machines. I have a new project in the works though and this will be my first time in a long time installing linux from disc. I have a separate post about that matter. Anyways just wanted to say hi since I’m new in to this forum. I spend most of my time over at the MX forum. Hope you all are having a great day/evening! Peace and good will!

Installing from CD/DVD or from USB works for all ISO files.
Hope you can give good use to your device with antiX!

::Hi Cyberghost,
Welcome to antiX and the antiX Linux forum.
I saw your other topic, I used ImgBurn on Windows to burn the antiX full ISO to DVD.
As you already have experience in the MX Linux forum you should know that it is good to check the option “Notify me of follow-up replies via email”.

::Welcome to antiX!
I often use CD or DVD discs since I have a lot of ancient machines around here. Sometimes I swap in a DVD drive instead of the old CD drive since many iso files now exceed the CD limit.
If the CD/DVD won’t boot I have taken the hard drive out and installed to a machine that does have a bootable CD/DVD or USB and then install, then put the hard disk back in the other machine.
