Hello from Switzerland

So I have already posted a little in the forums, but I haven’t properly said hi yet. Consider it done. 😉

I have been interested in Linux for years, but have only really made a serious effort to get into it (or rather: Windows and MacOS “pushed” me into Linux) in, like, the last two years maybe, even though my first Linux goes back to MkLinux. lol

So, I have been distro hopping a bit and I formed the opinion to get a Debian stable distro with Xfce. That’s when I discovered MX Linux and it’s very good. Then, I also wanted something lighter for older computers, that’s when I discovered antiX and I like it! Thanks for doing this distro!

I haven’t even been in the old forums, but I’m here now, so: hello!

Skills which might be of help:
– I am fluent in German, French and English.

Hi pbxxx,
I’m happy to hear that another user appreciates this fast,interesting and useful distro.
I too use MX linux and antiX. I unfortunately are fluent only in Italian and, to the need, in the dialect language of my area.
What a pity that you are fluent in all these languages spoken in switzerland but not in Italian, an aid would have been appreciated.
Well, welcome to the forum, and welcome to use antiX. It is a distro that more you learn to know and more you appreciate it.

I’ve considered learning Italian in the past and it is still on the top of my list of languages I would like to learn. Not only is it hugely useful in Switzerland, but it is also, in my opinion, the most beautiful language. 🙂 So, who knows, maybe one day I will join the italophone world.
