      I’m just trying to customize my taskbar.

      How do I get rid of the vertical black line?

          It probably somewhere in the theme. I’m guessing you took a theme and changed colors on things, but you missed that one. I bet if you look, in the original theme you copied, those areas maybe had a black background, so you wouldn’t have noticed there was a black line between them.
