::Thank you Skidoo and rokytnji.
Most of the posts on Duck-Duck-Go are ones I have tried from Google-search, or did not appear to apply to this issue.
I took a snapshot on the 32 bit and tried some terminal commands suggested on Github which did not resolve. Don’t know how to reverse terminal commands and don’t want to do so many random irreversible fixes that when the right one comes along it is too wrongly re-configured to fix. At least I can reload to where it was left at no volume in 32 bit. 99% of the fixes do not apply to the Pulseaudio current version 10.
Tried what looked like even remote possibilities.
The strange part of it is that with all PCs having MX on them, where Pulse and Firejail are totally compatible on the same machine, comparing the Pulse/Firejail default files, etc between AntiX & MX – everything is the same configuration so far. MX 17-AntiX 17 – one works with Firejail-Pulse, the other does not. Same PCs – dual boot.
One thing that appears to be missing in AntiX Firetools are the configuration editing files that are present on the GUI in MX on all installs. Checked Synaptic to see if there was something related missing there and could not find anything.
I am not anxious to see if passcodes or other information could get lifted from the browsers and it could be overkill [or no protection at all from it], but right now with the current processor revelation, I am more comfortable using Firejail.
Pulse is surely being blocked by something in Firejail in AntiX, but what? Maybe in the missing GUI configuration files?
Attached are Screenshots of the 2 GUIs – MX and AntiX (tools and the file under it are missing items in AntiX).
Would adding
“#Pulseaudio
sleep 5 && pulseaudio –start”apply to the Firejail-Pulse block?
Thanks again – I appreciate your help.

::Shoot. You are afeared of breaking things to the point of being non fixable. So take my advice with a grain of salt.
You can unistall default firefox-esr in AntiX which defaults to using alsa. Install latest Forefox from the MX repo. Which defaults to using Pulsaudio.
Or not. I am not as paranoid as most dedicated linux users. So fire jail is not on any of my boxes. I figure my android phone already gives the world another hole for me to get screwed and tattooed.

::Thanks. You are right – very overly cautious after my blunder with the Rox-Desktop Panel-toggle. Uninstalling a package that I never remembered uninstalling, and having it bite back when least expected. Had no idea why the massive problems were mounting. Should just get over it. On the security issue, prior to MX, MS Windows was the only experience… takes a while for the paranoia to wear down.
Your suggestions are welcomed and always useful – besides here, used tips you have provided in later unrelated items that came up. If I make a mistake with information given here, there is more of a chance that there will be telltale signs of where I took a left and more of a chance to get help and back on track with it. With online searches for fixes, the information often comes from Ubuntu, Arch and other distributions which I have no experience with and do not know if it even pertains to MX. I do try some and reload snap after.
I had previously installed the regular Firefox and uninstalled ESR. There is no difference in Firefox-Pulse issue though – no volume. FF might use Apulse or something like that. The first above attached GUI shot is from MX 17 32 bit (the one with the extra config boxes) and the 2nd from AntiX x64 T420. The GUI has same differences in 32 bit and 64 bit on both computers. You don’t see the extra Firefox edit from the new installation because the one attached is from the x64 T420 (there is no Chromium icon) as the example is likely confusing the issue.

::Have to give up on this one, or at least postpone until/if momentum to pursue is regained…
Officially ran out of ideas on this. It seems to be FJ not allowing pulseaudio on both x64 & x86, how it is blocking it remains a mystery.
Google and Duck-duck-Go searched with “how to search” tips recommended on AntiX site, forum searches [tips and tricks, old forum, MX, and searched Ubuntu, Arch, Firefox, Chrome, etc], – tried all suggestions found, to no avail.
Applied WordPress FJ fix offerings, even if remote. Tried any suggestions found out there even if not for the versions installed.
Added Debian backports,testing to Synaptic to get a newer version of FJ, but only the firejail-profiles package was available through that section in Pkg Mngr and not what was found listed on the Debian site. So, tried to add “firejail-profiles”, which is what appears to be missing in the application launcher GUI, and a “broken packages” dialogue emerged. Tried to fix and was a no-go. Probably not compatible with the FJ 9.44 version anyway.
Compared individual folders & files between MX and AntiX relating to FJ and Pulseaudio along with any other config files found connected to them to see what settings might be different.
Tried installing FJ 9.50 from a .tar file and failed in numerous attempts. Viewed very good videos from XPSTECH. I have installed .tar files previously [not specifically in AntiX] with some complications, yet successfully. However, still could have missed something…
Tried new patched kernel and an older one. Lost all audio. Reinstalling package got it back. Pulseaudio seems somewhat unsettled occasionally. Chromium doesn’t need Pulseaudio for sound [with or without FJ] on the 32 bit PCs and the 32 bits have great volume, but Firefox does not have any sound without it [with or without FJ].
Some people having the same issue, have reported installing an updated version of FJ and it did nothing. If there is another way to get this updated version through Synaptic with debian repositories, I would certainly like to try, so that at least that possibility is covered.
Anyway, thank you all for your input and taking the time to help.

::I’ve sometimes found solutions by walking away and giving my mind time to settle down.
My chromebook took a 3 year walk away before I decided to try and see if I could solve a thing I could not get my mind around to doing. Installing AntiX on it.
Sometimes trying too hard puts the mind in a loop and you just end up spinning your wheels.
Then later on. Something clicks and the solution is easy.Sometimes I drive a crooked road to get my mind straight.

::Firefox has gone the way of Micro$oft, MacOS, and SystemD: “We know what’s BEST for you, so it’s OUR way or the highway”. I always check out the highway (Antix and Linux abUser myself! – LOL) Pulse is a steamin pile of fail as far as I’m concerned, but Firefox is SILENT w/o it, AND even niggles you a/b it in a popup menubar telling you to click to “learn how to install Pulseaudio” – grrrrrrrrrfsckdat! If I want to play Facebook or Youtube videos (w/sound), I either use another browser or grab the urls and play them in Fauxdacious (my video-playing fork of Audacious, or VLC), since I REFUSE to install PulseAudio!

Jim

::rokytnji-
Yes – so true.
Could not rest until after successful installation of Firejail 9.50 [Synaptic debian-testing] with the missing parts –
Result: no change in the audio volume.
Reinstalled Pulseaudio and still no change. Rebooted, no change.
At least that as a solution is (likely) ruled out…
Have an option that is awkward, yet will serve for now – just need to use it at a slower pace.

Jim-
Thanks for the suggestions and information – will look into using some other browsers and audio.
