      Hi-

antix 17.1 and 17.2 default DPI resets itself after “Other Desktops”, Logout, Shutdown and Reboot.

Is there an alternate method to set DPI so that what it is set at remains that way?

      Thank you.

how are you setting the DPI now?

and is this a live or installed system?

              Hi dolphin-

Setting it in Control Centre-DPI settings.

The setting is still there when logged back in, just need to click on it to apply. Then it adjusts.

The system is installed on internal hard disk partition sda5.

              Thanks for you help.

looks like we may need to set a parameter in slim.conf.

I’ll adjust the set-dpi tool, but for now you can add

                -dpi 120

                to this line in /etc/slim.conf

                xserver_arguments -nolisten tcp

so that it looks like this

                xserver_arguments -dpi 120 -nolisten tcp

and that should carry over the change.

Thanks for reporting back that it worked!

I sent a revised set-dpi-antix tool up to anti last nite, so may come down in updates someday 🙂
