        re: udiskie

        The article might point out that several useful (possibly needed) ancillary packages are marked “Suggests:” (not “Depends”, not even “Recommends:”) so, depending on system settings, they are not autoinstalled along with udiskie.

        Here, I’ll skip mentioning any of the “Suggests” (you can view the list by right-clicking the udiskie listing within synaptic package manager)

        Recommends:
        libblockdev-crypto2 (without this installed, can udiskie read an encrypted removable device?)
        gir1.2-notify-0.7 (are the udiskie popups able to work without this installed?)
