::Believe it or not IceWM and JWM (2 of the window managers installed by default) are lighter and faster than OpenBox. Fluxbox is probably lighter too, but I’ve never used it enough to make a statement like that about it.
I found this great distro & went back to using fluxbox again,
Oh right. I just tried these desktops for the first time in, possibly a decade or and more
I’m impressed. None of them are actually how I remember them. My memory of them is
that they were either a bit clunky or a bit buggy etc.
For me the choice has always been between xfce and openbox, But I am so impressed with
the very quick look I just had at them and I see what you guys are saying. Not as heavy even as xfce
and not as raw as openbox. I will choose one later---------------------

::on the RecentPosts page, when I clicked to read this topic
( which resides in the “Forum › Forums › New users › Welcome to antiX” subforum )

the forum coughed up this hairball

this cannot be attributed to user error ~~ RecentPosts doesn’t even display a “reply” hyperlink.

The bug seems to conditionally triggered.
At the time I initially posted this message, it would have become post#16 in this topic.
The forum software is currently configured to display 15 posts per page.
BUG: when 15 (or whatever max per page) posts exist for a topic, the forum is showing
topic title [1][2] and using REPLYTO as the hyperlink for the highest numbered page.
Clicking, user is shown the reply box and has no opportunity to srcoll up to read earlier posts
(none yet exist on “page2”, when drafting what would become #16 in the topic).December 10, 2019 at 12:20 pm #30419Memberolsztyn
