I deleted Firefox and replaced it with the Chromium; it runs more smoothly on my 12-year-old laptop.
However, when I click on the button marked ‘Web Browser’, under the menu, Chromium doesn’t appear. How do I link it?

Many thanks in advance for any help with this.

Control Centre – Desktop – Preferred Applications – Click upward arrow to left of Web Browser – Select Chromium.desktop file – Open – OK
(You might need to log out/login for the change to show)

Philosophers have interpreted the world in many ways; the point is to change it.

antiX with runit - leaner and meaner.

Many thanks for the fix – much appreciated!
Just for the record: the changes took place without me having to logout/login
          Thanks again

This fix worked fine when I had either an antix-full or an antix-base install.
However, I now have a minimal antixcore-LXDE install and am unable to do this, using the gui as I don’t have a Control Centre.
What’s the name of the file to download for the Control Centre ?

Or what file, and changes I need to make to it, using the terminal method ?
Many thanks in advance for any help with this.
