Hi, I have installed antix and I’m not satisfied, how can I uninstall it? I tried to change the boot options in bios but it did not help and antix starts running, I used the program “antix autorove” but it did not help either.

      Please help

Hi, spieh – I’m sorry that you are not satisfied with antiX. As far as I know there’s exactly no way to unistall an Operating System. If antiX is the only Operanting System on your computer what you can do is install another System that you like- one tip – most Linux Operating Systems (probably 99% of them) allow users to test them- running them from a Live media, such as a pen-drive, a cd-rom or dvd-rom. So, install only a system you like
If there are other Operating Systems on your computer (other Linux, Windows, MacOS) – can’t you boot to them (i,e,- select any other operating system) when you turn on your computer?
From your question I gather you know very little about computers- so it would be advisable that you seek help from someone before making such important changes to your computer, like changing it’s Operanting System!

        P.

Edit: the antiX autoremove – is an application that cleans up your system, after you removed (uninstalled) other applications- it does not remove antiX from your computer!

What other operating systems do you have on the machine?

It’s easy to uninstall, you just need to format the partition that you loaded antiX on. But if you don’t change the machine to boot from another operating system first, it will only be able to boot from another drive.
