I tried everything i know from debian / ubuntu like dpkg-reconfigure keyboard-configuration or dpkg-reconfigure console-common, but i always end up with the same US layout.

By the way: I use an english interface, but my keyboard is qwertz.

Did you also try in control-centre > system > Determine system-wide keyboard layout ?

It’s also possible to change it only for the default session in control-centre under session > Changing keyboard layout for the session

You could run smxi. It comes with antiX.

          Right, it’s smxi -L.

Trigger pre system du/upgrade dpgk reconfigure locales question. Useful to avoid those super long locales that sidux users have to sit through if they don’t reconfigure their locales prior to running system upgrade.
