My question arises from temporary issue with Live USB Maker that prompts me to post an independent question to Linux experts (I apologize I am not an expert but just a humble user of antiX):
Question: I have a fully configured Live USB antiX – encrypted USB stick. It is set up with Persistence=All, fully configured, updated and remastered. How can I simply create an exact clone of such precious to me antiX Live USB stick on another USB stick, so it boots exactly the same way and has the same content? For simplicity both source and target stick are exactly the same hardware configuration (size, etc…).
      Any ideas greatly appreciated.
I sense it must be something simple that still eludes me. I have done my share of googling of Linux based topics and I assumed none of tools under Windows is capable of such cloning for the simple reason that Windows does not see Linux partitions…

Temporarily, use clone but don’t use the encrypted option. (we will find a fix for this, but it won’t be for a while I’m afraid)

Philosophers have interpreted the world in many ways; the point is to change it.

antiX with runit - leaner and meaner.

Thanks for the reply. I assume you refer to using Live USB Maker cloning except with no encryption. However I do think any serious Live USB antiX implementation requires such critical security, therefore so far I am resorting to my older backup copy – Live antiX with older version 2.41.16 of Live USB Maker, which means before my indiscriminate antiX update, falling back to kernel 4.9 to make it work that is.
I also want to mention that I think I understand the difficulty of fix as explained some time ago by BitJam…
