Using Linux systems, even if they are not 100% perfect, makes them less of a target than old Windows machines, though Windows has also improved a lot in basic security.I agree with this.
If on top of this if you use no persistence Frugal or Live with firewall on, this would be plenty of security and no need for extremely complex setups for practical purpose. However if this complex setup (VM+Firejail+…) has theoretical purpose as a showcase of maximizing security to extremes, that a different story…Live antiX Boot Options (Previously posted by Xecure):

::Thank you @Masinick & @Olsztyn.
Your posts brought relief, to me.

very glad to read these statements from expert and long time users.

I am actually putting this to practical use. I am still tweaking the frugal setup. Once I am done, I will go for integrating the VM with my phone. The project is almost 90% complete. The first major step has been taken, successfully, thanks to guidance from all you great guys. I will report the results, once I set it up completely.

::@anilkagi: I look forward to reading about and seeing your eventual solution. One thing I absolutely LOVE about freely available software is that it is a lively and active way to experiment. Even the greatest inventors of all time do not have every one of their experiments turn out. A few of them have probably even lost their lives through accidents and mishaps due to their curiosity that ended in an accident or a disaster, yet thanks to so many of them, the great inventions of the past two centuries have far surpassed anything before it.
With the rate of creativity and invention, who knows what will happen next? I certainly believe that the past ten years have greatly changed the way in which people work and communicate.
Who knows what your ideas may inspire – either from you or from a set of tiny incremental changes that one day blossom into a great work! So whatever you do, have fun and I hope that even the occasional boo-boo will result in something either fun, educational, highly useful, or just satisfying because you decided to TRY IT!
Best wishes always!
