      hello, even if i am allowed to set x permissions,
      when i try to launch a script or a program in another partition i get the message

      Permission denied

      is there anything i could do?

          thanks for replying.
          i have the system on an ext4 partition, of course the mount point is / ,
          standard (not frugal) installation of base antix19 .
          there is another ext4 partition where i copied unetbootin-linux64-677.bin .

          when i give the command

          ./unetbootin-linux64-677.bin

          from the command line, i get the

          Permission denied

          message. even from root shell .

          is there any other information that can help?

            IIRC unetbootin needs to be run as root or sudo user.

              yes, i haven’t been clear, i launched from root shell as root user
