        apt-get install lazarus

You need to give us more information as well.

What happens when you try the above?
Are you using default repos? Post them (inxi -r).
        32 or 64 bit iso?

Add the word dev to the antiX sources list to read like this

deb http://repo.antixlinux.com/stretch stretch main nosystemd nonfree dev

do apt-get update and then try apt-get install lazarus.

I’ve got the error message when I used ‘sudo apt install lazarus’
So I use ‘sudo apt install lazarus-ide’ for instead. It worked with no error, but when I lunch the program, it showed I lack something.

              So, I installed ‘gdb’

But when I want to install ‘fpc’ and ‘fpc-source’, I got the error:

After you added dev to the repo list, did you do an apt-get update?

I tried again using antiX 17.2 and modified sourcelist and
                  sudo apt update
                  sudo apt upgrade
sudo apt install fpc gdb lazarus

                  it works!!
                  Thanks @anticapitalista

Great! You don’t need dev in the sources list any more since those needed debs that were in dev have been moved to the main repos.
                    Enjoy!
