Dear Developers,
In MX Linux, you can find the “Hypnotix” application in the “Testing” repositories. It is an IPTV application and works well with MX Linux.
I can’t find this application for antiX even with Synaptic.
How to make a clean installation of the “Hypnotix” application without breaking antiX?

Thank you for your help.
Best regards,

::You could download it from the MXLinux repos
http://mxrepo.com/mx/testrepo/pool/test/h/hypnotix/
It installs at least here on my antiX21 without problems.
Or you may make a request to anticapitalista to add it to the package installer.June 3, 2022 at 1:56 pm #84059Member

::download the .deb file. Then open your file manager to the folder where you downloaded it to. Then open a terminal and type:
sudo apt install
Leave a space after the last word. Drag and drop the .deb from your file manager to the terminal. The full path to the .deb file should appear after the word “install” between quoations. Press enter to run the command and enter your password, if asked to. [this is the general procedure to install .deb files in antiX. If you have FT10 installed, right click the .deb file in zzzfm and open it with debinstaller – it’s a semi GUI way to install .deb files]
