        Hi,
        I don’t use ‘.appimage’.
I suggest to search the forum (there definitely are some posts concerning ‘.appimage’) or the internet.
In the latter case, you may narrow your search by mentioning ‘Debian’ (antiX is based on Debian and lots of tips/tricks are transferrable unless ‘systemd’ is involved).

EDIT: Also, I would assume that the source you downloaded from might include a tutorial/hint, or at least a README file could be present in the ‘.appimage’ director-y/ies.

Right click on the package, at the bottom of the menu you can open a tab with content
a+x (Mache ausführbar/durchsuchbar) answer yes. If you want to add a menu starter
use the tool in last tab of the controlcenter and add to personal menu.

          Described in forum multiple times.

            Hi,completely new to anti-x

To find your way around, please read the sticky posts: https://www.antixforum.com/forums/topic/short-essential-how-to-list-for-the-complete-linux-newbie/ and https://www.antixforum.com/forums/topic/how-to-install-applications-2020-version/

They will probably save you lots of time… appimages (and flatpaks, in a more detailed way) are addressed on those threads…

Like Moddit said – you have to make sure the appimage you want to run is executable: Open ZZZfm or Spacefm file manager, navigate to the folder where you have the appimage, right click the appimage file > Properties > Permitions > Make sure that, at least the first “Execute” square is checked > click OK
If an appimage is already executable, right click it, on your file manager and choose the option to run/execute it.
Some appimages offer to create a menu entry- if the one you are using offers that choice, select the option to add it to the menu, after that make sure you click the option to “refresh the menu” and then your appimage should appear in the menu.

            P.
