I have downloaded an appimage for pcloud. I changed the permissions to execute. It works as expected when I execute the appimage, and it places an icon on the systray. However, pcloud does not show on Menu Manager or start menu, but it does show on App Select. Below is the description on App Select:
[Desktop Entry]
Name=pcloud
Comment=pCloud Drive Client built using electron and node.js. Distributed with AppImage.
Exec=”/home/user/Documents/pCloud/pcloud” %U
Terminal=false
Type=Application
Icon=appimagekit-pcloud
StartupWMClass=pcloud
X-AppImage-Version=1.9.9
Categories=Network;
X-AppImage-BuildId=25BabBfRmSYvbAzU2KiLTI1qpmt
X-Desktop-File-Install-Version=0.26
X-AppImage-Comment=Generated by /tmp/.mount_pcloud06yTxP/AppRun
TryExec=/home/user/Documents/pCloud/pcloud
I would like the appimage to execute automatically and start pcloud when I start up the computer.
How do I set this up?
Dell Latitude D620 laptop with antiX 22 (64 bit)
Open up the ~/.desktop-session/startup file.
Add the program somewhere in the file, followed by “&,” like:
/home/user/Documents/pCloud/pcloud &
That should work. 😉

I followed your directions.
It works like a charm.
Thank you so much.
