      So, Vinzchang,

I recommend to maybe wait a bit for others to chime-in with a solution. Like I said, I have very little experience with the antiX-21 grub live-usb menu.

But I do have my computer hdd(s) set up to boot like a “fixed-live-usb” — using a tweaked version of the antiX-19 live-usb’s grub.cfg.
If you are interested, I will attach a copy for reference. It simply is the grub.cfg from antiX-19, but edited to only boot straight away to my chosen bootcodes. My hdd grub does timeout in 60 seconds…
(But I don’t want to go into it, if that’s not your cup of tea. But say the word, and I’m happy to share.)

      😉

EDIT: Also, an option to try is antiX-19.5. It’s fully updated and still supported. Try that one out to see if it will timeout to boot in uefi. (I know the antiX live-usb grub has been changed with antiX-21. But maybe the “classic” antiX-19 style will work for your use case.)

        Thanks Christophe,

I will use legacy boot instead.

          Hi Christophe

Is the fixed live USB legacy or Ufei?
          Please share your tweaks, thanks

This is my edited grub.cfg which I use to boot my frugal installs. I only use this on uefi computers. (For legacy bios, I use extlinux.)
Again, it is based on antiX-19, with the option-choosing removed, and my favorite boot options listed. It does give me a boot timeout.
