Tired of hitting alt+F11 every time you open a program to get it in fullscreen? Are you using icewm? Fear no more.
Use xprop in the terminal and click on the window of the program you would like to start fullscreen, take a note of its WM_class, and in the winoption config file for ice add the line: WM_class.startFullscreen: 1
For example to start Links2, Firefox ESR and Simple terminal (ST) in fullscreen on startup:
Links.startFullscreen: 1
Firefox-esr.startFullscreen: 1
st-256color.startFullscreen: 1
This might not be mindboggling to experienced users but for someone who has a laptop with a small screen and whos been hitting alt+F11 everytime (several times a day) I open up Links2 this has been a revelation.
