      I have had a love hate relationship with antix for years and now I’m back to loving it. I think this time it will be for good. Phew!!

      I looked in the icewm preferences file which to me is long and somewhat complicated. Anyway, I need to increase the font size as well as the color of the clock in the taskbar. How do I do this. For me the clock is too small.

      I’m using icewm – rox. I LOVE rox filer. I use bionicpup as well which also uses rox. My antix is a full install to a partition on my desktop computer.

      Thanks so much for the help!!!😁

        It depends on the theme.
        You need to edit the default.theme file of the theme in /usr/share/icewm/themes

        eg: BlueDay-Medium (default theme)

        ClockFontNameXft = “ubuntu:size=11,Sans:size=11″

        ColorClock=””
        ColorClockText=”#bAbAbA”

        antiX with runit - leaner and meaner.

            Or maybe a better way.

            Create a file called prefoverride in ~/.icewm

            Add theses lines – my examples

            ClockFontNameXft = “ubuntu:size=14,Sans:size=14″
            ColorClockText=”#DF5050”

            antiX with runit - leaner and meaner.

              That’s an excellent idea!! I tried to change the color using the original method you suggested but it didn’t work. I restarted icewm as well.

              Another thing I need to know is how to increase the taskbar height. I read something about modifying the linux.xpm file. I’m totally lost here. Can i include your solution in the prefoverride file you suggested? This file sounds like I can add my icewm tweak settings in there?

              I attached three files that might help you out with what I did.

                Seems like prefoverride isn’t working as it should.
                You’ll have to edit the themes file I mentioned before.

                You can copy /usr/share/icewm/themes to ~/.icewm if you want

                  OK. Thanks.

                    However, before that, try another font in prefoverride

                    eg

                    ClockFontNameXft = sans:size=14
