Doing some lip stick on my icewm window manager. Changed theme to a downloaded one named Rotaxx in my ~/.icewm/themes directory I made.
Basically. Could not log into icewm after that. Instead of digging to deep. Here is how I fixed it. Symptoms was icewm wallpaper would show up with crash gui. Selection buttons are restart or abort. Also. Conman connection window shows up with now task bar. Buttons are minimise or quit.
Minimize won’t effect any thing.
Quit at least closes the Conman window so you can get to the crash window and try restart if you so wish.On mine restart would just crash icewm again. So abort button it is. Back to slim login screen.
To fix. I used the F1 key to change window manager from icewm.
Login next. Then open rox and go where I have that theme.
I delete it. Rename one of the other theme folders the same name of theme I just deleted. If nervous you will forget the name. Pencil and paper. or text doc.Anyways. Log out. Use F1 key to make sure icewm shows up that you usually use. Login. Everything should now be kosher.
You can change themes again from the menu and rename that Rotaxx folder you messed with back to it’s original name.
1st time I ever broke icewm like this.

Funny part is. I can’t rotaxx theme on the internet.
I have saved themes going back on antix versions to like version 8. On external drive. No telling where I got that theme from.
Anyways. This thread is just to show how to fix a theme change icewm crash.

That hasn’t happened to me.
I like the wallpaper.
Post the conky code for the weather stuff if you could please.

Could be because that theme requires icewmbg, which is not included in antiX icewm build.

No problemo. Re reading what I typed out earlier. I was in a zone. Miss spell and words left out .
