Good Evening,
just a stupid question but I could not find an answer:
I am running icewm and testing and I want to be able to drag a window from one workspace to an adjacent with the mouse.
Currently with default settings it is not possible. Is it possible at all and what is the setting for it?
Thank you in advance
Not sure if this will answer your question.
If you right-click on the bar that is at the top of every window, select move to for moving to other workspaces.
Thank for your quick reply.
I would like to move a window to another desktop by clicking and holding the title bar with the mouse and than moving it with the mouse over. Is there a way other than the one described by you?
As far as I can tell, iceWM does not provide ability to DRAG-to-adjacent-workspace.
You can setup a keybind “move currently focused window to workspace XX”
(in my own day-to-day usage though, I would just do it the way caprea suggested)
