      Dear All,

I have finished reviewing the French translation of icewm at the site :
      https://l10n.opensuse.org/projects/icewm/icewm-1-4-branch/

I need to request a merge at the Github site to update the French translation but I don’t know how to do it. Can someone help me please?
      Here is the Github site:
      https://github.com/ice-wm/icewm/tree/master/po

I’m sorry to bother you with this.

      Best regards,
      Wallon

        Hello dear Wallon.

I can help you with this. Just a minute.

I placed the request sharing the URL and uploaded the file I downloaded from openSUSE in French language.

        Good job Wallon.

        Olá caro Wallon.

Eu posso te ajudar com isso. Só um instante.

Eu fiz o pedido compartilhando o URL e enviei o arquivo que baixei do openSUSE em idioma Francês.

        Bom trabalho Wallon.

Don’t worry, Wallon. The icewm dev will pull all translations for the next release, as he has done for every release. No need to send a merge request at all.

            Dear Marcelocripe,

Thank you for making the request.
I had noticed that the other languages were updated but not French. Strange, isn’t it?

            Dear Xecure,

As I said before, I don’t know anything about Github usage. I am surprised that for ICEWM the updates are automatic.
This principle should also be applied for the antiX and MX Linux projects.

Thanks to both of you for the information and support.
antiX22 will look even better with the correct [pt_BR] and [fr] translations.

            Best regards,
            Wallon

              Hello dear Wallon.

I can help you with what little I learned.

Even though the IceWM translation didn’t need to make the request, it at least served as a warning to the program maintainer, something like “look at the new revision and translation of the fr.po file”.

The other JWM and Fluxbox will need the request, let’s help each other to keep moving forward with constant improvement.

              Olá caro Wallon.

Eu posso te ajudar com o pouco que aprendi.

Mesmo que a tradução do IceWM não precisou de fazer a solicitação, ao menos serviu de alerta para o mantenedor do programa, algo do tipo “olhe para a nova revisão e tradução do arquivo fr.po”.

Os outros JWM e Fluxbox precisarão da solicitação, vamos ajudando uns aos outros para continuarmos avançando com a melhoria constante.

                Dear All,

For your information, iceWM in French was updated at Debian.

Thank you to the whole team.
                I am so happy.

                Best regards,
                Wallon
