There was a fix in 1.6.1 that I do wish I had
Instead of wishing for it to arrive in stable repository, you can go get it.
I downloaded these:

… Yes skidoo … and the small error pixels are mostly into the circle icons here (icewm 1.62 _ svg icons /usr/share/icons/Papirus/22×22/apps/* into this toolbar)

The 1.6.2 from unstable is working fine. The Idea of modifying the code is too far beyond my ability, though. As far as disk monitor I just need to go to plan B or C. Maybe I’m not having icon problems because I’m using a different theme and large icons.
