      Hiyall,
      Using default desktop: rox-icewm.
      How do I setup an icon so it opens when I plug a USB in?

      Live-USB = zzz-IceWM-antiX21-runit-64-base: static persistence
      VirtualBox= zzz-IceWM-antiX21-runit-64-base

        Peter, If you are running the default rox-icewm desktop and haven’t changed things, when you insert a USB with a partition on it, the system will automatically mount the partition and open a window on the desktop in rox-filer (the default file manager) showing the contents for each partition.

        Sorry, I don’t understand what you asked for: “setup an icon so it opens when I plug a USB in”. I think you mean put an icon on the desktop for each USB that I plug in so I can click it to open it in the file manager, like Puppy Linux does, but I don’t know a way to do that in antiX.

          BTW, Did you try the suggestion Christophe made when you asked this question before? YOU need to create the icon on the desktop if you want it there.

          For all I know, there might be a package out there that puts icons on the desktop automatically like Puppy, or maybe the code from Puppy that does it could be adapted or reverse engineered. Something you could investigate if you really want that feature.

          Another option would be to run Puppy Linux instead if that is important to you. antiX is probably not ever going to be everything for everyone.
