      Hello all.
I have been playing around a bit with the space-flux flavor of antiX, as well as rox-flux. I noticed that when I change icon themes, menus seem to ignore the change. Being a lazy person who has some limited experience building and using jgmenu, I thought I’d try it out.(https://github.com/johanmalm/jgmenu). Initial results look promising. jgmenu does inherit the icons… next I’ll try using the new version of tint2.

      Anyway… the fun continues.

btw… tint2 installs nicely and functions (see:https://github.com/johanmalm/jgmenu). Now all I have to do is build them into my setup/autostart/ etc. 😉

fluxbox styles (aka ‘themes’) are configured independent of any other environmental components.

          apropos fluxbox
will list the multiple manpages related to fluxbox, and the styling howto is provided in
          man fluxbox-style

To view the result when making incremental edits to a style, you don’t need to logout/in ~~ can just issue a Reconfigure command (a desktop menu entry is provided for this).

I have been using jgmenu for a few months. I like jgmenu handy at times for me in i3 with some of the system setting but could be used as a daily menu.I have ever worried about the icons myself looks like it users the program icons.
